FUCK YEAH THE SEATTLE FOUR / This is a blog dedicated to the Seattle four (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden) run by Roshni and Lola. Occasionally, you will see bands like Mother Love Bone, Skin Yard, Green River, Blood Circus, and Gruntruck on this blog because they arguably started the Grunge movement. Enjoy! :-)

If you have any questions on any of the bands we post (or anything for that matter) please do not hesitate to ask because our knowledge on the Seattle four is quite extensive! ♥

Anonymous: Do you( or your followers) have a recommendation of books that talk about the history of seattle bands? Thank you! :)

hi there! well, the first one i would suggest is definitely “everybody loves our town” by mark yarm. there is also “grunge is dead” by greg prato. PJ20 is a great book to read because it gives info about mother love bone and the rise of the scene and the formation of pearl jam. there’s also i book i own on the history of rock and roll that has a substantial grunge section but i’m not at home at the moment so i can’t remember the name! i’ll check when i get home and update the answer. anybody else have some good suggestions? :’)

edit: the book i was talking about is called “the history of rock” and was published by parragon books.

They’ve been married for eight years.

Anonymous: Is Xana (Andy Wood's girlfriend until he died) still alive?

Yes, she is! From what I understand, she’s doing quite well. :-)
